Hola! My name is Lemuel Diaz, the owner of Culebra Snorkel With Locals. Growing up here at Culebra, Puerto Rico, I have always dedicated my love to this magical island! I am a certified scuba dive instructor. We offer small group snorkeling tour, scuba diving tour, open water scuba diving certification, as well as gear rentals. We take a very personal approach when showing guests our beautiful animals and corals while educating them how to protect our precious ecosystem. Let me start this out by saying, this is not one of these big group "adventure" companies bringing you out to snorkel with 30 other people. This is like snorkeling with your friend that REALLY loves this stuff and wants to show you what he's into. Lemuel's enthusiasm and knowledge of his water wonderland is something very contagious. His sense of humor makes the whole experience a lot of fun. The groups are small. In our case it was just my girlfriend and I. This gets everyone the attention they need to make the experience great. We did the kayak package (you get to view a coral farm) and reef snorkeling. Got to see coral being grown and how it is being reintroduced to the reef. Tons of fish and even a sea turtle leading us to the reef.
Reasonable price, excellent communication, clean equipment, great guy and awesome experience. Look no further, this is the one to book.
